CattLeLogos Cross Cultural Workshops

Dealing with other cultures is a fact of life as business and information technology move us toward a global economy. Our seminars help people:

  • understand that cultures are not "right" or "wrong", they are just "different"
  • communicate better with people with different communication styles
  • build more effective teams with people with other cultural backgrounds

Exploring Cultural Mindsets

This seminar examines some of the hidden cultural issues that undermine business. It uses a particular culture, Japanese or Latin American for example, as a template for understanding how people develop different mindsets. We review the background factors that shape values, rules, and beliefs of a given culture.  The outcome is a broad perspective and set of tools to use when working with people from any cultural background different than ones own.

Target Audience:

Management professionals who are working in international business or with cross-cultural work teams at home or abroad.

Benefits: Participants will develop, as an in-class exercise, the factors which influence what it means to be an American. Additionally, the implications for other nationalities and individual cultural mindsets will be explored.
